CALPE WANTS MORE

A town for living and working.

We are a team with a purpose: to make Calpe a sustainable, intelligent town, with identity and inclusion.

Over the next few years, the women and men of the Partido Popular, will give their best to convert Calpe into a town with purpose, the best place to live on the Mediterranean.

A Calpe in which the youngsters and workers can find accessible housing. A sustainable town, respecting our natural heritage, the new Botanic Garden, Oltá, our Peñon, or the Salinas that we are going to protect and preserve as our most important environmental treasure. A Calpe dedicated to our climate commitment, that promotes a driving economy with an intelligent management of our waste products. Where we can use a free Bus in our most commercial streets without needing to take a car. A safe town, most especially in our urbanisations. Where we help diversity in all its facets, being accessible and eliminating architectural obstacles in our streets, and public buildings. A Calpe full of culture and traditions. A clean town, with a lot of green areas, and solidarity with the environment. Themed and inclusive children’s parks where we can practise sport at whatever time of the year with the best installations. A Calpe that respects animals, that already form part of our lives. With a strong local commerce, and a tourism of excellence. It is the moment to make the change to a different model of tourism, with more opportunities for employment during the whole year.

Because we will be the best place to come to, if we are the best place to live in.

These are the principal proposals, however the future of a town should be designed together, where all opinions are taken into account.

A Town Hall accessible in all languages through Artificial Intelligence
Integration of distinct religions and their cultural activities through a new Council Department.
New cultural twin-towning with cities in Great Britain, Belgium, Romania, Holland, Morocco and France.
A Foreigner’s Office
Calpe, smart city. Using virtual reality to make accessible, through recreations and virtual routes, our natural spaces such as the Peñón de Ifach.
The creation of a Day Centre for dependant persons.
Centre for the Third Age working with volunteers, digital literacy and cognitive skills workshops, activities, accompaniment….

PROMOTING CALPINO TALENT WITH QUALITY EDUCATION

Petitioning the Generalitat to cede the Centro de Interpretación del Peñon de Ifach, for municipal use and value more the origins of la villa de Calpe at an educational level.
A new Secondary Institute.
New Professional Formation in Fishery, and a new educational cycle in Gastronomy and Hotel and Catering.
Grants destined for young Calpinos to study foreign languages abroad.
Grants for the payment of official language examinations.

Program to motivate and orientate youngsters between 16 and 21 years,

who have abandoned their studies.

Fusion of Art and Nature in the Sierra de Oltá.
New Ricardo Bofill Museum of Architecture.
“Casa de la Fiesta” in the old town: keeping alive one of the traditions most emblematic of our town, the Moros and Cristianos.
Baños de la Reina. Preserving our inheritance by creating a museum.
New Municipal Library and Archives in Galerias Oltra.
Organising the festivals, Low Calp Fest, and Calpe Latin Fest.
Espai Gaming Calp, a centre for youngsters for online games and internet education.

STRONGER LOCAL COMMERCE

Direct grants of up to 2,000 euros a year for Calpe businesses that wish to create their digital marketing plan.
Bono Consumo and Bono Come, to motivate the local economy.
Promote the gastronomy of Calpe, and the Calpe Gamba Blanca as a national gastronomic reference.
Local Market Place. Co-working Building with online headquarters, for new digital businesses, which connects all the businesses in Calpe, promoting shopping locally, and intelligent local commerce.

SUSTAINABLE AND UNIVERSAL MOBILITY

Electric bus for the historic centre and town shops, free for residents, that will connect the beaches, the Port, commercial areas and historic centre. (Circulating round, Pintor Sorolla, Gabriel Miró, historic centre, and Health Centre).
Night time bus, connecting leisure areas.
Direct bus connection to Denia Hospital.
New public electric charging points.
“Bono Muevete Sano”, up to 50% in aid for the purchase of bicycles, motorbikes, and electric vehicles.
New public parking to dissuade the use of cars, to decongest the busiest areas, connected with public transport.

CEEDING OF MUNICIPAL LAND TO THE GENERALITAT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A LOCAL HOSPITAL IN THE SOUTH OF THE MARINA ALTA

CALPE, QUALITY TOURISM ALL YEAR ROUND

Planning for an intelligent destination, gastronomic and healthy life style.
Objective: Employment in Calpe 365 days of the year. Quality Tourism.
Enlarge and modernise the points of attention to tourists, and the communication to the visitor, implementing a strategy of digital marketing.
The Vuelta de España will return to Calpe: the most important plan for sports and cycling at a high international level.
2,000,000 euros invested in sustainable tourism destination, EU Funds.

Bonotaxi for dependant people: transfers to the Health Centre and to get necessities……
